Mentorship
Mentoring is not merely teaching; it’s an art form where wisdom and experience are passed through the generations.
Girl Tech Power
About the initiative

Girl Tech Power is an engaging summer code camp designed specifically to empower middle school and high school girls to join and transform the tech industry. Directed by Alark Joshi from DCL and funded by Craig Newmark (founder of Craigslist) at Department of Computer Science, University of San Francisco, the camp culminates in a visit to a Bay Area tech company, where participants meet inspiring female engineers and showcase their own tech projects.
Contribution
As a Girl Tech Power leader, I spearheaded initiatives to empower middle and high school girls with coding skills, equipping them to initiate their journey in the tech world. The program focused on Python coding, culminating in the creation of a fully functional game. To foster camaraderie, we included Disney trivia games at the end of each class. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with participants praising the supportive environment and valuable skills they gained.
